Job Description

Len Stoler Ford is currently looking for an experienced Shop Foreman to join their team! The ideal candidate will be a fully trained Ford technician. 

$500-$1500 Sign On Bonus!! 

This individual will be responsible for all functions of the service shop area, including overseeing employees and ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, all while being responsible for individual production.

The Shop Foreman requires strong leadership skills, specific knowledge of automotive repairs, and knowledge of all tools, health, and safety policies.

A shop foreman will assist in hiring and training employees, monitors work activity, works with customers, fixes equipment, and enforces rules and regulations associated with Len Stoler Ford.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Shop Foreman:

  • Oversees daily work of employees.

  • Work with management in warnings and disciplines employees not working to company standards.

  • Greets and assists customers who enter the shop.

  • Assist in dispatching repair orders.

  • Assists in repair, maintenance or other tasks involved in customer RO’s.

  • Reviews work completed to ensure it is up to quality standards.

  • Enforces all health and safety policies in the shop.

  • Ensures deadlines are met on customer RO’s.

  • Assists employees in on-site health or safety emergencies.

  • Addresses and resolves customer issues and complaints.

  • Inspects and makes sure all shop equipment is up to date and clean.

  • Fixes equipment and machinery as necessary.

  • Ensures that shop area is clean, organized, and free of dangerous or hazardous material.

  • Test drives with customers as needed.

Job Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills.

  • Previous Ford experience

  • Possesses detailed knowledge of vehicles repairs.

  • Works well with a team.

  • Exhibits strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Possesses solid analytical and problem solving abilities.

  • Demonstrates awareness of all health and safety protocols.

  • Manages time efficiently and can multi-task effectively.

  • Pays attention to detail. Demonstrates strong organizational skills.

  • Possesses basic computer skills. Is able to read, interpret, and compose repair orders.

  • Communicates clearly and effectively. Is capable of translating industry terminology into straightforward terms for explanatory purposes.
