Job Description

Len Stoler Ford is currently seeking an Automotive Service Advisor for our winning Service Department.

The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for all automotive service and repair matters. The Automotive Service Advisor's core responsibility is to listen and thoroughly understand customer problems, to arrange for an appropriate automotive service visit, and to set/manage expectations on the part of the customer and the technician(s) in terms of service delivery.

Duties will include, but are not limited to-

  • Schedule repair appointments
  • Greet customers in service lanes
  • Generate appraisals and estimates
  • Write repair orders and follow up with the customer
  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions

Job Requirements


  • Previous automotive experience is a plus
  • Strong listening & communication skills
  • Commitment to customer service
  • Detail oriented
  • Previous success in resolving customer service issues
  • A high level of professionalism and courteousness
  • A desire to be in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of vehicle repairs and warranty work
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Service Advisor experience preferred (not required)
